Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Shortcut Pastry 300g (1 ½ sheets)

  • 1x Pear

  • Honey 30g

  • Butter (Unsalted) 30g

  • Olsson's Native Plum Salt 2tsp

Directions:

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Sheet: Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare Pears: Cut each pear in half vertically. Lay the halves flat and thinly slice them.

  3. Drizzle Honey and Arrange Pears: On the lined baking sheet, drizzle honey in 2-inch zigzag lines, evenly spaced apart. Sprinkle a bit of Plum Salt over the honey. Place 3 slices of pear on top of each honey drizzle. Repeat the process for the remaining pear slices.

  4. Prepare Puff Pastry: Slice the puff pastry sheets into quarters. Gently lay each quarter over the pear slices. Once the pastry has defrosted sufficiently, use the back of a fork to create indents around the edges.

  5. Brush with Butter: Melt the butter and brush it over the puff pastry.

  6. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.

  7. Finish and Serve: Gently flip the pastries over and sprinkle with additional Plum Salt as desired.
